If you complete a qualifying purchase, we may receive a small commission. The price you pay is generally the same whether or not you use our affiliate link.

How affiliate links support Garden & Pantry

Affiliate income helps cover the costs of operating this website, researching articles, maintaining our growing and preservation equipment and producing free gardening and pantry content.

You are never required to use an affiliate link. You may search for and purchase the same product independently if you prefer.

How we choose what to recommend

We aim to recommend products that meet at least one of these standards:

• We currently use the product.
• We have used or meaningfully evaluated it.
• We have researched it and believe it is suitable for the stated purpose.
• It is a reasonable alternative to something we personally use.

When relevant, we will explain the basis of our experience. We will not claim to have personally tested a product when we have not.

Our recommendations may consider usefulness, durability, safety, price, ease of use and suitability for home gardeners or food preservers. A commission rate does not determine our conclusions.

Sponsored content and paid partnerships

Garden & Pantry may occasionally receive payment to create content or discuss a product, service or brand. Sponsored content will be clearly identified using wording such as “Sponsored,” “Paid partnership” or another understandable disclosure.

A sponsor may define the subject of sponsored content, but it may not purchase a guaranteed positive opinion. We will not knowingly publish a claim that we believe is false or misleading.

Gifted and discounted products

A company may provide a free product, sample, service, travel benefit or discount for evaluation. When that relationship could affect how a reader interprets our recommendation, we will disclose it.
